Farmhouse Hearts with IOD Stamps

I've never been a heart girl so Valentines day decor is usually not my thing but these farmhouse hearts could change my mind.  

I bought the heart cut outs from Target in 2018 and finally had to get them painted and out of the bone yard.  I used DIY Little Black Dress and painted over the bright red.  

I then used DIY Tarnished Pearl, Petticoat Pink and Apothecary and used the Crackle and Distressed IOD Stamp as a reverse and pushed it into the wet paint to create the texture.  

Next was the IOD ink using the Queen Bee Stamp, Butterfly Stamp and Rose Toile Stamp creating a tile like image.  The Queen Bee Stamp has quickly become one of my favorites.  The bee is HOT this summer.  

Finished with a coat of DIY Big Top and added DIY Dark wax for that aged farmhouse look.
